Inside a real store

What 11 AI agents do every day in a real store

At Hasod, the online gift store in Israel where we built MOVA, all 11 AI agents work on real orders. Maya answers the site's chat at any hour, Q flags a checkout error within about 2 minutes, and Stocky checks inventory every 6 hours. A supplier order, new inventory going in, and a fix to the site wait for approval.

In shortWhat to know

  • All 11 agents work at Hasod today, on real orders, one for each department, from the site's chat to supplier invoices.
  • Some work runs on a clock: a channel report at 8 AM, an inventory check every 6 hours, and a checkout alert within about 2 minutes.
  • Some starts when something happens: a new order starts a packing timer, and a photo of a supplier invoice is read line by line.
  • People still decide. A supplier order, new inventory going in, and a fix to the site wait for approval. At a US store, Maya starts on launch day, and the rest of the team joins one department at a time.

What kind of store is Hasod?

Hasod sells gifts and gift boxes and packs them in its own warehouse. It has suppliers, staff on shifts, local delivery drivers, and customers who write in through the site's chat. It has sold online since 2017.

Customer service, orders, inventory, supplier invoices, shipping, and shifts all run in one admin, and each department has its own AI agent. Here's what they do on a regular day, grouped by when the work happens. Every line below is what runs at Hasod today.

What runs around the clock?

  • Maya, Customer service

    Answers from the order itself

In the site's web chat, at any hour, Maya answers questions, including about a specific order, from its live status. She can send a secure payment link in the chat and hand the chat to a person. Every chat sits on one screen, where a person can take over.

  • Q, Quality control

A checkout error, within about 2 minutes

A new error at checkout or in payment reaches the owner by email and text within about 2 minutes. A problem that hits many customers sends one message, and while it lasts, at most one an hour.

  • Jett, Shipping

    No delivery taken twice

Hasod's local drivers claim deliveries in an app on their phones. The moment one driver takes a package, it disappears from every other driver's screen.

What runs on a schedule?

  • Cleo, Marketing & content

    What each channel brought in

Every morning at 8 AM Israel time, the owner gets an email with what each marketing channel brought in yesterday, against what it cost: the real Meta ad spend, and for Google Ads and organic, a fixed amount the owner sets. The money in is counted from orders that were actually paid.

  • Stocky, Inventory & purchasing

    What to reorder, by supplier

Every 6 hours, every stocked item is checked, and the result is grouped by supplier: what to reorder now, what to reorder soon, and what's overstocked. A gift box's inventory is counted from the items inside it.

  • Lumi, Website & shopping

    Where shoppers got stuck

Visits are recorded with the shopper's consent. Every evening, the owner gets an analysis of where shoppers got stuck, and the problems go into a fix queue. A fix goes live only after approval.

What starts when something happens?

  • Axel, Orders & operations

    A timer on every order

Every order gets a packing timer: who packed it, for how long, and at what pay rate. That shows how much work really goes into each product.

  • Pixie, Invoices & documents

    An invoice from a photo

A photo of a supplier invoice is read line by line. A price that went up since the last invoice is flagged as the invoice comes in, and once it's approved, the items go into the store's inventory.

  • Lumi, Website & shopping

    Shoppers who leave at checkout

Shoppers who start checkout and don't finish get up to 3 follow-up emails, sent only between 9 AM and 9 PM Israel time.

  • Mimi, Staff & scheduling

    A schedule that drafts itself

Staff mark when they're available, and a draft schedule for the week is built for a manager to fix and approve.

What runs when someone asks?

  • Scout, Market research

    What other sellers charge

For a product added from a supplier's link, one tap shows what other sellers in Israel charge for it on Google Shopping, with the median. The price stays the owner's decision.

  • Bruno, Finance & planning

The numbers, with the formula shown

12 calculation cards, from revenue to break-even and net profit. Each one shows its formula with the store's own numbers in it, and warns when a number is missing.

What still waits for a person?

The agents bring work and proposals. At Hasod, the owner decides what runs on its own, and some things always wait for a person:

  • A supplier order. Stocky recommends what to reorder, and never places an order by itself.
  • New inventory going in. Pixie reads the invoice, and a person confirms it before the inventory changes.
  • A fix to the site. Problems from the evening analysis wait in a queue, and a fix goes live only after approval.
  • A price. Scout shows what other sellers charge, and the price stays the owner's call.
  • The week's schedule. Mimi drafts it, and a manager fixes and approves it.

AI does the work fast. People check every change before it goes live.

What does a US store get?

MOVA runs every day in our own store, Hasod. US stores are joining now as early access: your new site, the admin and Maya, your customer service agent, from launch day. The rest of the team joins one department at a time.

Most of what runs at Hasod comes with an agent's Basic, Premium, or Master level. Some of it, like the visitor recordings, runs only at Hasod for now. Your payment processor and shipping carriers are connected during setup, where your provider allows it.

Questions, answered.

Do all 11 agents really work at Hasod?

Yes. Hasod is our own store, and all 11 agents work there on real orders, from the site's chat to supplier invoices. The Hasod case study covers each one: what it does, and when.

What do the agents do without asking?

At Hasod, some work runs on its own: Maya answers the chat, Q sends checkout alerts, Cleo's morning report goes out, and shoppers who leave checkout get follow-up emails. A supplier order, new inventory going in, and a fix to the site wait for approval. The owner decides what runs on its own.

Why aren't Hasod's sales numbers here?

Because they aren't published, and we don't make numbers up. What we can count, we count, with the date: the agents, the admin screens, and what the system can do.

Which of this does my store get?

MOVA runs every day in our own store, Hasod. US stores are joining now as early access: your new site, the admin and Maya, your customer service agent, from launch day. The rest of the team joins one department at a time. Most of what runs at Hasod comes with an agent's Basic, Premium, or Master level, and some of it runs only at Hasod for now.

Can I see Hasod's site?

Yes, at hasod-gifts.co.il. The site is in Hebrew, and most of what this post describes runs behind it, in the admin.

Is there a person behind the agents?

Yes. AI does the work fast. People check every change before it goes live. At Hasod, the owner decides what runs on its own, and a person can step into any customer chat.
